I am a registered Nutritional Therapist and I see clients on a 1:1 basis to support the individual’s health and wellbeing through a unique and nutritious programme along with lifestyle support. My core passion is about maintaining good health and enjoying good food to fuel our body at a cellular level, thereby fighting infection, ill-health and inflammation.
My approach is to help clients understand how to incorporate a nutritious food plan and lifestyle changes so that they can enjoy a fulfilled healthy life, being symptom free and enjoying the body they blessed with.
I support all areas of nutrition not just the symptom presented to me. These may include digestive issues, bad breath, acne, fatigue, weight management, food relationships, hormonal imbalances, aches and pains along with supporting individuals just looking to improve their routine, energy levels and get their health back on track.
My work incorporates the knowledge to support, Sport and Athlete’s Nutrition along with Natural Sports Cookery in order to enhance an athlete’s performance and post recovery.
I work to find the root causes of illness rather than simply focussing on the system presented. This way of practise incorporates functional and naturopathic approaches thereby bringing my client back to optimal health and wellness.

Review from Laura:
“A midlifer, I went to see Nicola for help with energy, bloating and digestive issues. Although not particularly overweight, I think that was down to family genes more than diet, which consisted of carbs, sugar and stodge.
From our first meeting, Nicola’s expertise was evident. She guided me through what to expect and I completed a diet diary and health questionnaire at home.
Nicola went on to write a detailed and easy-to-understand plan, with foods grouped by colour into red, orange and green. Although daunted and unsure at first, I soon found the new diet surprisingly tasty, fun and straightforward. I tried new things and became my local refill shop’s best customer – buying seeds, nuts, spices and whole grains.
Six months and a couple more meetings in, I’m delighted. Nicola is a fount of helpful suggestions and clever ideas. My digestive issues have been resolved and energy levels are excellent. I love all the healthy foods and feel like a celebrity in a magazine for having achieved such a big change to my diet.”

Personal Trainer, Group Fitness Classes, Nutrition Coaching
I have lived in Watlington with my two children since 2015 and love being part of the community we have here.
Once you are part of one community in the town, you meet other communities, we all support each other. We are simply part of a much bigger community!
I decided to retrain after having my second baby, coming from a background in the pharmaceutical market research industry, it was a big change but it was totally worth it and I have not looked back.
I was never sporty at school, I discovered running after the birth of my first baby and discovered how much impact it had on my mental health. I regularly attended fitness classes in gyms, local parks and crossfit which led me to decide I wanted to provide my classes outdoors, this is where I felt my best mentally and physically. I am not a competitive individual, I am a firm believer in taking part, performing at a level that challenges you, motivates you and wants you to have the thirst to keep on going with whatever activity you decide to take part in. Everything I learn I share with my clients, I am honest, only use science backed content and approaches. I believe everyone has the right to move their bodies, no matter what age, shape, gender and background.
Exercise is the key to a happier and healthier life, and I love to support anyone wanting to improve their lives. There is always a way!

Henny Haworth-Booth
Ayurvedic and Holistic Health Consultant
Hello! I am Henny, a fully qualified Ayurvedic and Holistic Health Consultant offering one-to-one health consultations in person here at Watlington Wellness Centre (as well as at my home practice in Kencot, Oxfordshire) and online via zoom.
I offer a holistic approach to well-being, using the ancient wisdom of Ayurveda to help you find true balance in your mind, body and spirit. In Ayurveda, we understand that everyone is completely unique with a very individual mind-body constitution. When we live in alignment with what suits our constitution best we feel well, balanced, content and fulfilled. However, the stresses of life including relationships, work, diet, lack of sleep and even the weather, can take us out of balance. Through gaining a deep understanding of our mind-body constitution through an Ayurvedic consultation, we can learn how to keep our body & mind in balance.
Whatever your specific health concerns are, be they physical, mental or emotional, I can help guide you using the unique whole-body approach of Ayurveda that gets to the root cause of your symptoms. I particularly specialise in all gut related and digestive disorders such as GERD, IBS, wind, bloating, stomach pain, constipation, irregular bowels and acid reflux. However, I also have experience treating a wide variety of conditions including menopause, thyroid, menstrual, autoimmune, anxiety, insomnia, weight gain, eating disorders, joint pain, arthritis, and much more.
An initial consultation with me involves taking a deep dive into your personal health history. We discuss your daily routines around eating, sleeping and working, as well as your relationships and emotions. I also use Ayurvedic diagnostic tools of pulse & tongue diagnosis to help me gain a deeper insight into you as a unique individual. You will leave with a tailored therapy plan including personalised suggestions around diet and lifestyle as well as herbal supplement suggestions should you wish. Through treatment, you will learn how to understand and heal your body yourself, so that your symptoms don’t keep coming back.
If you are looking for a holistic, completely natural approach to your health concerns, as either an alternative to more conventional Western medication, or to complement and support your existing treatment, please do get in touch.
